Making nut butter at home is really easy and very satisfying and fulfilling. All you need is a quarter of an hour and a food processor... and of course some nuts. You can use virtually any nut you like - peanuts, hazelnuts, almonds etc. You can also use seeds, such as sesame seeds, to make your own tahini paste. You can make a raw butter or a roasted nut butter. If you prefer the latter, simply roast the nuts or seeds in the oven for around 15 minutes at about 180 degrees Celsius, stirring every 5 minutes or so to prevent burning.
